Step
#2: Understand that Jesus died for
your sins. Friend...there is no other way but Jesus. Although we cannot
understand how and why Jesus has to die to save us...the Bible is clear
that there has to be shedding of blood for remission of sins. This is true
even in Moses' time where God required the Israelites to sacrifice unblemished
animals for the forgiveness of sin.
Jesus loves us so much...so
much so that He was willing to be humiliated and beaten and made to carry
a heavy wooden cross only to be nailed and die on that same cross He was
carrying.
Instead of us dying the
second death because of our sins... He saved us by being our sin sacrifice.
